Water Suction Hose

Our suction hoses are suitable for heavy duty, rugged applications such as heavy construction, irrigation, mining and dehydration. Its rubber construction provides excellent resistance to cutting, chiseling, and weathering. It is not designed for food-grade applications, high-volume water transfer, pressurized pumping water over a distance, or continuous heating applications such as glycol transfer, as most "water" hoses are not designed for "critical" water applications (such as permanently installed pumps) because the hose typically only has a 3:1 safety factor and will fail over time in pressure or surge applications. For critical water absorption or drainage applications, we recommend a petroleum or chemical hose with a higher safety factor.
