Der Aluminiumfolien-Lüftungskanal besteht aus einer Doppelschichtstruktur zur Verbesserung der Aluminiumfolie und des feuerbeständigen Glasfasergewebes. Die Innenseite wird von einem spiralförmigen, hochfesten Spannungsstahldraht getragen. Die Gesamtdicke des Rohrs beträgt 0,5 mm. Die Dicke des Stahldrahtes beträgt 0,8–2,0 mm.
